Through a tourist's eyes

Last night, at 8.30 on the dot, I met my friend Min at the "London by Night" bus stop in Victoria armed with a bottle of wine, a couple of glasses, a picnic and a camera. It was a warm, summer's evening and as we sat upstairs in the open top bus, disguised as tourists. And listening to the (genuinely!) hilarious guide, we watched London transform as the mood magically shifted from dusk to night. I took lots of pictures but I've selected these few because they convey something of the atmosphere of the evening - the luminosity of the London nightscape; and the joy and anticipation of a city enjoying it's Saturday night. www.london-by-night.net
